Amazon is really hurting US businesses big time. This article may be outdated, but Chinese companies are now shipping by sea tons of products directly to Amazon’s warehouses, so it looks like it’s being shipped from US companies. Amazon is doing this for Chinese companies for next to nothing and giving customers free two day shopping. There will be very few US retailers left after what Amazon has done to US retailers. This totally takes US retail out of the equation.

i dont think people understand the implications of a quick sale? China used to be cheap however i have noticed that the wholesale companies in china are selling items in direct competition to the people they often supply and are offering a minimal price differace? Now in australia they are purchasing all of the propertys in the housing and business because they have so much extra money locals can not compete? why? well the simple plan i think is they will set up mini distribution outlets and cut out the local sellers? they will appear as the local sellers after all we dont really investigate who sells our products just as long as it sell from australia? This is at very least a national security issue? Their is no differance but a peice of paper between my citizenship and others, however the loyalties and supply profit networks go straight to chinese? I also think the longer term plan for china is to use their labor cheaply from overseas following the freetrade agreement outline to produce and manufacture in australia? the reasons being the issue of labor costs in australia? The australian governments have destroyed the manufacturing industry safty nets and now it would seem they are letting china attack the main contributer positive business growth being small businesses? Who often get their stock from chinese suppliers?
